Welcome to one of the premiere rafting destinations in the west! The Colorado River winds through the dazzling Glenwood Canyon and alternates calm water stretches with beautiful rapids, offering fun and challenging whitewater rafting for all ages and abilities. This section of river provides everyone from beginner to advanced an ideal and memorable river rafting experience. The Colorado flows year-round offering family float trips from Class II to III.
Rafting trips depart daily seven days a week at 10am and 2pm. Complementary hotel pickup and drop off available for all rafting trips. Reservations recommended, please call 970-945-7529.
***If we determine the river conditions to be unsafe, or unsuitable, we reserve the right to transfer parties to a different river, or section of the river, on the same day or to arrange to run the same river on anther day. We will make every effort to give you as much notice as possible.

Glenwood Canyon Half Day Shoshone Rapids
This is our most popular rafting trip! It’s fun for the entire family. The Shoshone section of the Colorado River flows through the beautiful Glenwood Canyon. The continuous Class III rapids ease after a few miles, followed by interspersed Class II whitewater. 1,500 ft canyon walls tower above. Swimming opportunities abound, as the warm Colorado air makes the cool Colorado River very inviting. One of the best rafting trips in Glenwood Springs. River time 2.5 – 3 hours

Half Day Mild Adventure Rafting Trip
This rafting trip on the Colorado River through Glenwood Canyon offers families and groups a unique situation, whereby the adventure seekers in the group can run the rapids and then meet up with the rest of the group for the float section. A perfect trip for those with young children or those who just want to enjoy the scenic beauty of Glenwood Canyon while floating the river. River time 2.5 –3 hours. *Children must be over 30 lbs.

Want a little more fun? Jump out of your raft at Grizzly Creek and paddle alongside in a single or double duckie. Float with the family and switch out during the trip. Are you ready? An inflatable sit-on-top kayak allows you to captain your own vessel during scenic float stretches. These offer one of the most exceptional opportunities to ride the river. Last year I brought the family to Glenwood Springs for a little mid summer vacation. The Glenwood Adventure Company did an awesome job providing my family with the perfect amount of exciting Class 3 rapids and scenic Class 2 float. The Glenwood Canyon was remarkable! The rafting guides were social and experienced. Just booked the next trip in June! Can’t wait!
