This activity is suitable for a wide range of ages and physical abilities, but one has to be very comfortable in the water. Glenwood Adventure Company transports you upstream and you float to a designated spot where we pick you up. This activity requires protective footwear [close-toe shoes]. Reservations recommended.
Half day rental $30
Full day rental $50
Water shoes available for rent.
Prices include transportation, life vest, helmet, and paddle if requested.

kid-iconThe ducky is an inflatable kayak that can sit one or two people. These offer one of the most unique opportunites to ride the river. Our half day rental trip is an ideal adventure for those who want to captain their own vessel. Experience the scenic section of Glenwood Canyon as you meander down the Colorado River into the historic town of Glenwood Springs. Young or old, the scenery, wildlife and swimming sections will leave no one disappointed. Children as young as 8 can ride with an adult. Reservations recommended.
Half Day Adventure: $35 single / $55 double
Full Day Adventure: $65 single / $90 double

Just like kiteboarding grew out of wakeboarding and downhill mountain biking borrowed from motocross, surfing and river running have combined to create a whole new sport: stand-up paddling. For the adventurous at heart and proficient swimmer, stand up and propel and steer yourself down the mighty Colorado River. If your just getting started we have lessons available. Reservations recommended.
